Anthropic Launches Claude Design for Teams to Create Prototypes, Decks, and Landing Pages
Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a new product under its Anthropic Labs label that lets users create designs, prototypes, slides, one-pagers, and more through conversation with Claude. The tool is available in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers, with a gradual rollout in progress.
Claude Design is powered by Claude Opus 4.7, Anthropic's most capable vision model. Users describe what they need, and Claude builds a first version. From there, changes are made through conversation, inline comments, direct text edits, or custom adjustment sliders that Claude generates to control spacing, color, and layout in real time.
Claude can also apply a team's existing design system to every project automatically, keeping output consistent with company designs.
How Claude Design Works:
- Set up your brand: Claude reads your codebase and design files to build a brand system with your colors, typography, and components, applied automatically to every project.
- Import your content: Start from a text prompt, upload DOCX, PPTX, or XLSX files, link a code repository, or capture elements from a live website.
- Refine: Edit through chat, inline comments, or adjustment sliders to control spacing, color, and layout in real time.
- Collaborate: Share privately, as a view-only link, or with full edit access for your team.
- Export or hand off: Export to PDF, PPTX, HTML, or Canva, or pass a ready-to-build handoff bundle to Claude Code with a single instruction.
According to Anthropic, teams are using Claude Design across the following workflows:
- Prototypes: Designers turn static mockups into shareable interactive prototypes for feedback and user testing, without code review or PRs.
- Wireframes and mockups: Product managers sketch feature flows and hand them off to Claude Code for implementation or share with designers to refine.
- Pitch decks and presentations: Founders and account executives go from a rough outline to a complete on-brand deck in minutes, then export as PPTX or send to Canva.
- Marketing collateral: Marketers create landing pages, social media assets, and campaign visuals, then loop in designers to polish.
- Frontier design: Anyone can build code-powered prototypes with voice, video, shaders, 3D, and built-in AI.
Anthropic crossed $30 billion in annualized revenue by early April 2026, up from $9 billion at the end of 2025, and is in early talks with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley about a potential IPO as early as October 2026.
