Reddit sentiment analysis
Name a brand or a change. Get what Reddit thinks, with the threads to prove it.
Examples
A pricing change, a product launch, a rival sized up before you build, and a patch gone wrong. Every quote links to its thread.
How it works

Name the subject
A brand, a product, a launch or a price change, with a date range. Name subreddits to focus on, or let it find where the conversation is.

It reads the threads
Chatly reads the public posts and comments, scores each comment as positive, neutral or negative, and groups them by what they are about.

Frequently asked questions
How does Reddit sentiment analysis work?
Public posts and comments about a subject are collected, each comment is scored as positive, neutral or negative in context, and the scores are counted into a split. Comments are then grouped into themes so you can see what drives the mood.
Can it handle sarcasm?
Better than keyword counting. Each comment is read with its thread, so a sarcastic 'love this for us' under a price rise is scored as negative.
Which subreddits does it read?
Any public subreddit where the subject comes up. You can name the ones that matter, or let it find them, and the report lists every subreddit and thread count it used.
How far back can it go?
Choose the date range in the prompt: the week after a launch, a quarter, or a year for market research. Longer ranges read more threads and take longer.
Is the data public?
Yes. Only public posts and comments are read. Usernames appear only where a public comment is quoted, with a link to the thread it came from.
