Features

  • Detail reconstruction

Missing detail is rebuilt from motion across frames rather than guessed per frame, which keeps faces and text stable instead of shimmering.

  • Artefact removal

Compression blocking, banding, sensor noise and interlacing combing are handled as separate problems, because they are.

  • Face-aware processing

Faces get dedicated handling so an upscale does not leave everyone looking waxy, the most common failure of generic upscalers.

  • Frame interpolation

Raise 24 or 30fps to 60fps for smoother motion, with judder handling that avoids the soap-opera artefacts on pans.

  • Preview before you commit

Run a ten-second section and compare settings side by side before spending processing time on a long file.

  • Batch processing

Queue an archive and apply the same settings across it, with per-file reports on what was cleaned up.

Who it’s for

  • Archive and family footage

Bring old camcorder and phone video up to something watchable on a modern screen.

  • Repurposing old marketing assets

Reuse a campaign shot years ago at a resolution today's placements require.

  • Screen recordings and webinars

Clean up compressed recordings so on-screen text is legible when the clip is reused.

Frequently asked questions

How much can it upscale?

Up to 4K, typically 2x to 4x the source. Very low-resolution sources improve but will not match natively shot 4K, nothing can invent detail that was never recorded.

Does it handle old interlaced video?

Yes. Deinterlacing runs before upscaling, so combing artefacts are removed rather than magnified.

Will faces look plastic?

Face handling is deliberately conservative to preserve skin texture. If a result looks over-processed, you can lower the strength and reprocess.

Is the audio affected?

No. Audio is passed through unchanged and remains in sync, including after frame interpolation.

How long does it take?

It depends on length, source resolution and target. Short clips take minutes; long archives can be queued and batched.
