Frequently asked questions

How accurate is a website traffic estimator?

Estimates are modelled from the keywords a site ranks for, its positions and their search volumes. They are good for comparing sites and spotting trends, and can be off from the site's own analytics, which only its owner can see.

Does it estimate total traffic or search traffic?

Organic search traffic, with paid search where the site runs ads. Direct, social and email visits are not visible from the outside and are not included.

How many sites can I check at once?

Paste as many as you need. Small lists come back in a minute; a few hundred domains take a few minutes and fill the sheet as they finish.

Where does the data come from?

Chatly pulls it live from DataForSEO and Ahrefs when you run the request, for the country you choose. Every figure in the sheet carries the date it was pulled.

Can I see traffic by country?

Yes. Each site shows its top country, and you can ask for a country breakdown or estimate traffic for one market only.
