The listings in search order, sponsored included, with yours in the same sheet.

How it works

  1. Name the market

Type the search your buyers use, or paste the rival ASINs you already watch. Add your own listing to see it ranked among them.

  2. It reads the shelf

Chatly runs the search on Amazon, opens the top listings and reads their reviews, collecting price, rating, review count, review pace and the complaints each one draws.

  3. Find the opening

You get a sheet with one row per listing and one column per measure, the strongest values highlighted, plus a theme column showing the complaint no rival has solved.

Frequently asked questions

How do I do Amazon competitor analysis?

Search the terms your buyers use, list the top listings, and compare price, rating, review count, review pace and what their reviews complain about. The complaint nobody has fixed is usually the best opening.

How do I find my competitors on Amazon?

Your real competitors are the listings that rank for the searches you want, not only the brands you know. Start from the search results, including sponsored listings, and add the ASINs you already watch.

Does it show competitors' sales?

No. Amazon does not publish sales figures, and any number would be an estimate. The sheet uses what is public, such as review count, review pace, rating and price, and says so.

How many listings can I compare?

Up to the top 20 for a search, or any list of ASINs you paste. Most people start with the top eight.

Can I compare listings in other Amazon marketplaces?

Yes. Run the search on the marketplace you sell in, such as Amazon UK or Germany, and the sheet uses that marketplace's prices and reviews.
