How it works

Name the search
Say what kind of business and where: a city, a few postcodes or a radius around an address. Add the filters you care about, such as a minimum rating or only places with no website.

Watch the sheet fill
Chatly reads the Google Maps results through DataForSEO, area by area, and lays each listing out as a row: name, category, address, phone, website, rating, review count and hours.

Filter, then export
Duplicate pins are merged and closed businesses flagged. Sort by rating or reviews, keep the rows you want and download a CSV or Excel file for your CRM or dialler.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to scrape Google Maps?
Chatly reads public business listings through DataForSEO, a search data API, rather than crawling Google's pages or using your account. The data is the same any visitor sees. How you contact the businesses afterwards is still covered by your local marketing rules.
Can I get email addresses from Google Maps?
No. Google Maps listings do not include email addresses, and the sheet never guesses one. You get the phone number and website the business publishes, which is usually where its contact details live.
What data does the Google Maps scraper return?
Business name, category, full address, phone, website, star rating, review count, opening hours and the Maps link, one row per business. You can drop the columns you do not need before it runs.
How many results can I get from one search?
As many as the area has. A small town might return forty businesses and a large city several thousand, because the search covers the area in pieces instead of stopping at the first screen of results.
Can I export the list to CSV or my CRM?
Yes. Download the sheet as CSV or Excel with typed columns, so phone numbers keep their format and ratings stay numbers when you import them.
