Is Claude 5 Sonnet the same as Claude Sonnet 5.5?
No. Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5.5 on 28 September 2026, and it is on Claude's free plan. Chatly runs Claude 5 Sonnet and does not have Sonnet 5.5 yet.
Sonnet or Opus: which is better?
Opus goes deeper on hard coding and analysis; Sonnet is faster and costs less to run. Both are in Chatly, so you can try both.
